I agree that in many scenic areas, it is very difficult to successfully convey the size of the view. Here the range of mountains and the river create good lead-ins towards the distant mountains. I would have made a small colour adjustment to remove the blue cast at the far end of the valley. |

To me this is a very effective shot of the snow falling near to your window, the monochrome treatment is very good. I don't usually like the inclusion of 'distressed borders to an image, but I feel here that it has been very successful. |

I like your composition with the man down in the corner, with the hulls of the boats creating lead-ins to him. I agree with Renee that the sky would benefit for some more colour in it.
Your main focus was on the large boat and as a consequence the man is very soft, and if you want to be the main subject he needs to be much sharper. you could increase the sharpening on him, but it would probably make very little difference. Detail enhancement in Nik Filters might work , in Photoshop I would try using the Shake Reduction in the Sharpen filters. |

I prefer the second of your 2 versions, they both remove the very bright area, but the second retains more foreground interest. |

What an interesting challenge - I love the feathery ice crystals that forming on the bubble. Your choice of the purple background that worked very well. |

I always like urban reflection images of older buildings with their muted colours of the brick or stone construction. Here you have enough ripples in the water to soften the image further. The building going right down to the base of the image on the right create a good stop on that side and the reflection off the tree top left also helps to lead the eye into the main part of the image. I am not sure about the inclusion of the circular ripple, it could be considered a distraction especially if it was in a different position. |

I like the autumn colours of the trees in the background and the way that the stream leads us into the picture. To me the light coloured water at the base draws my eye away from the trees, so I would suggest cropping off up to the rock on the left. |
