This is good example of light painting to enhance the detail in the tree trunk, your exposure has also created a good image of the scene overall. I like your smattering of stars in the sky and because of their relatively small size the small amount of star trail is acceptable. |

To me this is a simple but very effective image of the tulips. I like their arrangement and the soft yellow and red tones of them. The inclusion of the diffused out of focus flowers in the background presents the tulips appearing against a totally black background. However I would clone out the one touching the flower on the right as once seen it attracts the eye. |

Congratulations on being a grandma again. You. have really caught a wonderful moment between father and baby, well done. The light area just above the child face concerns me, I cannot decide whether it attracts attention to the child's face, or it is a distraction that needs to be toned down. I would like to see a print of this as I feel the a siren image does not really reveal the tonality involved. |

I have made both colour and mono prints from this file and I like both, as you say in colour the reds stand out and attract attention. I feel that viewing the mono on screen has reduced the contrast I had on the print in which the strong black and white tones create a degree of punch and help focus attention on the boat on the right. |

I really like the small range of soft tones in this image, and the diagonal path that the lambs are taking. To make the lambs stand out more I would try either selectively increasing the contrast on them or selectively sharpening them, both of the processes will create a similar result. |

I am glad we don't get plagues of insects like this here in the UK. well done in having a good depth of field which has made the whole insect and most of the leaves sharp. As often happens with insect wings they pick up a lot of light and create quite a lot of hot spots, I would be inclined to try to tone them down slightly. I would probably try to tone down the very bright green of some of the leaves. |

To me the the main subject of the image is Milky Way and the hoodoos, the tree is adding little to it - so I would crop to create a square image. The use of the LEDs has brought out all the detail needed in the hoodoos, without spilling over in to their surroundings. In many ways I would prefer the sky to be darker with with less blue in it. |
