Like the symmetry of this image, and it is helped by the positioning of the boat creating the line of symmetry though to the support of the distant bridge. I would have been inclined to crop both sides slightly to the edge of the nearest buildings as the light areas of them particularly on the left draw the eye from the main bridge scene. |

I like your framing of the bridge and the way it leads the eye across the image. There may not have been a lot of colour in the scene but I feel that there was good tonal range and this could have been enhanced in mono by increasing the contrast. I would also have considered the use of selective toning having the bridge timbers in sepia and the rest a normal mono. |

You were again set an interesting challenge by your club. I like your layout of your family members, I take it the centre one was a young you. Copying old colour images can be frustrating as unless they have been well stored in the dark the colours will have deteriorated - its worth trying the auto-tone and auto-colour in PS sometimes it works better with auto tone first so, try both ways round, also using the eye droppers in levels can have an effect. If these do not work convert to mono, but do not just desaturate as this will create flat result. On your final version I would preferred to see softer transition between the images rather than the some hard edges.

This is a simple shot of the twigs with the flower buds bursting, set against a complimentary diffuse out of focus background. I am not sure we need the twig on the lower right, it draws attention away from the main twigs. I would have preferred a little more room around the top right bud, and the bit of bud intruding on the stem bottom left corner cropping off. |

You have separated the wren well from the background, and have shortened any twigs that were intruding in to the important part of the image. It looks to me as if the lighting was coming from high on the left behind the bird , which has made the lightening up of the face and some of the separation of the background necessary.
I would have preferred to se the bird with more frontal lighting.
