The contrast between the red of the ground and the green of the vegetation is very effective with the yellowish shoots in the foreground forming a sort of lead in.To me the grey cloud sky, being a neutral colour does not detract from the colour contrast on the ground. The choice of the rectangular letterbox shape is very appropriate, though I think that the rock is little too central in the image. |

The mist creates an excellent atmosphere in this image, and I like being able to see the distant fence rather than it having disappeared in the mist. I quite like the application of the texture but feel it is a little too heavy particularly on the left hand side. |

You spotted the situation well and it was well worth recording, but to me you'd not quite get the timing correct. Feel that a couple of seconds earlier would have reduced the separation between the donor and the 2 recipients. It would probably also have avoided a second character being immediately behind him. In your first image large area on the right is adding nothing to the image or the story, your later versions are much stronger, particularly by the removal of the other side of the street. |

Your HDR conversion has brought out a great deal of detail in the image particularly in the sky. I like the inclusion of the rainbow as it creates a good centre of attention along withe sunlit area on the canyon rim. |

Your mono conversion makes it much stronger image. I feel that a little more detail in the stonework could have been brought out in your mono conversion, and that at the base the green foliage and the red of the pillar are almost the same shade of dark grey and they could have been separated during the conversion. |
