I feel that in this image you have added just the right amounts of brightness and saturation to improve the image. I like the increase in texture that you have applied to parts of the blue background. I am not normally in favour of using 'distressed edges' to an image, but here I feel that it has worked very well creating an interesting piece of framing. |

To me this is a very pleasant, tranquil scene, which conveys a sense of spring with the dead reed heads in the foreground and the tree buds just starting to break in the background. I feel that you added just about the right amount of vibrance to the colours. |

To me the cropping off of the gent in the original images was essential, his red clothing would have made him strong centre of attention. I feel that converting tomato was fairly good choice, as it concentrate attention onto the bottles nearest to the camera. To me you needed to use a much smaller aperture as the nearest bottles are not as sharp as they should be, compared with those on the left of the image. |

I like the atmospheric effect you have achieved in this image, in particular the misty effect on the left. I am sure that adding the sunrays to the original image has added a further dimension, but as you suggest you have probably overdone it. I feel the area to the right of the tree is much too bright. |

Photographing white birds in sunlight is always a challenge as so much of the feather detail can burn out. There are a number of possible solutions setting a manual exposure, reducing auto exposure by 1 stop are both effective. You exposed in Raw this allows you to use the highlights slider in ACR/Lightroom to put some detail back in the burnt out areas. Another technique is to do 2 raw conversions one for the background and one for the highlights then combine them masking as required.
I feel that the bird is too large in frame it needs some more space above and below it.
I also think that it would have benefitted from a slightly smaller aperture to bring the whole of the far wing and feet into biting sharpness |
