I really like your treatment of the image - you have retained the misty mood of the scene. Your enhancement of the boat has really made it stand out against the mist.I find theta of the mast rather dominant, it would be better if you had kept it soft sin your original image. I feel that there is rather too much sky, and some could be cropped off, but you would need to skilfully reduce the height of the mast so it does not break the frame to get the best result. |

this is a pleasant image of the dancer taken under difficult conditions. I feel the face needs a little lightening up, particularly around her right eye. There are 2 off-vertical edges which would benefit from straightening up. |

To me this is a very pleasing image of the young child. I feel that your treatment has enhanced it from the original. |

You have had to crop hard to get your final image. I like the position and pose of the butterfly and its colour is strong enough to successfully compete against the bright colours of the flowers. The focus is on the body of the insect but would have benefitted from a smaller aperture so as to have kept the wing tips in focus. |

A super image of the pelican, I particularly like the fact that it was shot from water level. I like the way it has turned its head so that we can see the eye and the underside of the beak. There is excellent detail on the underside of the beak and in the feathers. I also like the mix of colours in the water. |

Quite a dramatic landscape and sky, a very good choice of shutter speed to blur the water but still show good detail in it. I can se a small number of areas which appear over sharpened or have halos. The problem with using clarity is that it effects the whole of the image, when we really only want to apply it to a specific area, the solution is to produce 2 identical with and without clarity output files in Lightroom then stack them in Photoshop or Elements and mask accordingly. |
