The shot of the building is awesome. Let me preface the rest of my comments with the fact that I'm not as fond of photos that don't look natural. I think one of the things that's bothering me is that I've never seen a rainbow that fills the entire sky, so it looks very strange to me. The other thing I'm struggling with is that I think there is always sunlight showing in some part of a photo with a rainbow. As I look at the shot, I'm wondering if the original was taken with a dark sky, such as right before a storm or right after sunset. I like Paul's suggestion about sky replacement. |

Bev, I really like your shot. You did a great job of capturing his expression, which looks so natural. I love the smile. It draws me in. I'm on the fence about the background because to me it's not that busy and it gives the shot a bit of context. |

Jamie, What a great shot! It's as though you managed to get him(?) to pose for you. The direct stare that you captured is great! It really grabs your attention when you look at the photo. |

Lloyd, Great shot!! I did not know how rare kingfishers were until I read Tom's comments. While looking them up, I read that it is considered good luck to spot one. I also appreciate how hard it is to get small fast birds in focus because I was trying to get shots of warblers last weekend. Nice job! |
