Thanks Jamie, other people have told me about Nik. I'll have to look into it. |

Paul, thanks for the information. How long do you usually set exposure? I'm assuming you have a tripod for the shot. |

Thanks Margaret. I think I got the walkers sharp because it was very hot and no one was moving very quickly! :-) I tried other angles, but this one seemed the best to the curves in the wall. I thought about asking him to move, but I didn't think it would go over too well! LOL! |

Yes, that's what I would try. Bev is suggesting Topaz. If you have that software, it does a great job. |

Thanks Lloyd. Bev had a similar suggestion. I wish I could get him out of the photo altogether. |

Thanks Bev. I agree that he is distracting. In my opinion, he is ruining the shot. I tried using content aware replace in Photoshop to get rid of him but that left the trees behind him looking strange. I think darkening him does help. |

Bev, what a great capture! I love the expression on your granddaughter's face. Must have been a fun day of shooting. I enjoy trying to capture shots of my grandchildren playing sports. I was wondering if something like Topaz sharpen could remove some of the fuzziness around her face and shoulders. |

Lloyd, I really like your portraits. You did a great job with your edits. Must have taken a really long time to do all of them. You managed to make them look like they could be old pictures. I did notice that the jacket on the man in the middle picture seems very grainy compared to everything else, which is sharp. Must be due to the material in the jacket. |

Tom, what a funny shot! I can understand why you can't bring yourself to delete it. The hot spots would be easy to tone down, but the red car is a whole other problem. Wondering if you can change the color in Photoshop by replacing the red with black. The cut off part is also interesting. My imagination was thinking the cat had stuck his head into the car trying to get at the driver. |

Margaret, what a great shot! The clouds hanging over the mountains really created an interesting effect. I'm thinking that dehazing the mountains a bit might help to emphasize the shadows that the clouds are creating on them. |

Paul, this is a really fun shot. Nice and sharp. Great capture. I've gone to a couple air shows and enjoyed it, but I also discovered how difficult it is to capture the planes and get them framed well, especially with a long lens. Nice job! |
