Thanks Margaret. I debated about keeping the flower or taking it out because I wanted to show the whole branch of the flower that the butterfly had landed on. I guess the second flower just distracts from the butterfly. I shot it handheld. The lens is a Nikon 24-120 and has vibration reduction which helps. |

Tom, yes Butterfly World was a lot of fun. I debated about the tighter crop. It looks good. I see that you darkened the background a bit more. How did you do that, and what additional "tweaks" did you do? Trying to learn editing techniques in Lightroom and Photoshop.
Thanks,
Mary |

Lloyd, what a fun shot!! It really puts a smile on your face just looking at it. You did a great job capturing it. Why not enter it into a competition? |

Tom, great capture! The light is perfect the way it is hitting the subject, especially the way it highlights the side of his face. I like the way your subject stands out against the background. |

Jamie, I love this shot. The sunbeams bursting through the clouds and the reflections in the puddles are beautiful. I like the way your edits pulled out more detail. |

Paul, this is an amazing shot. You managed to capture a really sharp image and the angle is wonderful. I agree that it looks like you must have been up there with the plane. |

Bev, I like the design you created with the pens and the black background was a great choice. The image is very striking. I did notice that some of the pens are missing small pieces near the ink. Good luck with the competition.
