Thanks Margaret. I thought it looked good when I was taking it, but it turned out better than I thought it would. |

Lloyd, based on your description, I'm wondering if the original and edited versions are reversed. You said you were able to recover a lot of detail, which is why I'm wondering. Anyway, based on that assumption, I think it's fun image. I really like the vibrant mix of colors. I'm curious, beside a longer exposure, did you create the streaking effect my moving the camera or did you add it in post processing? |

Margaret, I love the daisy and the sharp detail that you captured, right down to the tiny bee on the top of the flower. I like the way the yellow pops against the dark green background and the fact that you used a shallow depth of field to blur the background. |

Bev, this photo is amazing. In the digital age, I've gotten so used to being able to look at a photo immediately and see if I got it right. The fact that you captured it so perfectly on film is very impressive to me. I've never been to Israel, but your photo makes me want to see it. |

Tom, I think this shot is wonderful! I love the effect you created with the lighting and how it frames the glass pieces. I also like the way the lighting emphasizes all the designs in the glass. |

Jamie, this is a really nice shot. I like your edits which made the colors lovely. I usually reject my bird photos that are taken from behind the bird because I almost never manage to get a good shot of their heads. You did a nice job with this capture. You mentioned that it was hard to get them still. I noticed that your focal length is pretty short, which I think would make getting them in the frame even harder. Also, a faster shutter speed (at least 1/1000 or higher) and shooting on continuous high speed can help a lot. |

Paul, this is an awesome capture. The detail and colors are wonderful and you managed a super sharp focus even with a teleconverter. I love the shot but I agree with Tom that the red/orange line pulls attention away from the bird. |

Thanks Tom. I think I used a depth of field that was too shallow. That, combined with the low light situation caused my granddaughter to be slightly out of focus. I still liked the shot but I need to learn how to compensate better in low light. Couldn't use flash because of the glass. |
