Hi Gary,
Thanks for the tips. I appreciate you taking the time to make suggestions. I was walking around shooting handheld. I'll try 1/400 sec next time. |

Jamie, I really like the way you edited the photo. The horses are beautiful and I like the effect the wind created. I think it might help to lighten the shadow across the face of the horse on the right. |

Great shot! Really interesting. I didn't know it existed. Another place on my list of things to see. Crazy Horse's face is nice and sharp, so I think the photo would look better if it were cropped to remove some of the construction on the right. I think this would put more emphasis on the main subject. |

Lloyd, I found myself having the same thoughts as Tom. Both images are beautiful, and I can't decide which I like better. The color image accentuates the reflection more, but the black and white has such interesting texture. I agree that the one streak of cloud in the color image would be better replaced by some nice puffy white clouds. Nice shot!! |

Bev, I like the way you processed the image. It gives it a slightly spooky, medieval feel. I think the highlights are a little too bright, especially the ducks. To me they distract a bit from the feeling you created. |

Tom, this is a beautiful capture!! I love the reflection. I've taken a lot of photos of birds taking off and have never been lucky enough to get such a beautiful reflection. The lighting on the face of the great blue is also great. |

Thanks Tom. The stuff on the stump is complements of mother nature. I think it might be some sort of mushrooms that were growing out of the stump. Couldn't get anywhere near this little guy. Right after we saw him and I grabbed the shot, he ran. |
