Thanks Nilmini. I haven't tried that. I'm guessing it would make an interesting abstract. I'm not sure how slow of a shutter speed you would use. |

Jean, I love the effect of the sky in this photo. The layers of clouds and the different colors are beautiful. I also like the effect of the silhouette and the reflection on the river. I found the white spot that was caused by a break in the trees on the hill a little distracting. I might have tried removing it in post processing. Although I really like the image overall, to me it feels like there is too much black space in the bottom right of the frame. I wish the shot could have been just slightly more to the left to add a little more reflection of the river and still have an outline of the hill without so much black. |

Margaret, I really like the textures in this shot and the various shades of brown and tan. I like the way you positioned the light and dark lines in the bark so that they follow the rule of thirds. I like the overall effect but I wish there had been a knot in the wood or something similar to add a little more interest. |

Lloyd, I really like your image. I like your editing choices because they gave the shot subtle tones and textures. I agree with Jamie that maybe a vignette would soften things around the edges. |

Jamie, you have a great eye for interesting shots. Your choice of angle when you took this shot made it really interesting. I agree with everyone else that your post processing made it even better. I love the combination of lines, textures and colors. Hope you win your club competition. |

Nilmini, based on your comments, I'm wondering if the original and your edited version are backwards. I love the version that is shown as the original. It definitely has a mystical mood. |

You have been far more creative during COVID than I was. I love the colors and the way they fade softly into the background color. Beautiful! |

Thank you Margaret. This is the second year I've gone there. If you go during migration, there are several hundred thousand. You can check on their website where they tell you approximately how many geese are there. They also have a web cam. |

Thanks Lloyd. The other shot is not actually the original. I just included it because it's a better view of the snow birds to be able to see what they look like. |
