usually, the best aperture of most lens will be 2-3 level up against its maximum aperture. honestly, I never use wide aperture for landscape photograph, f/8-11 mostly which will achieve the better quality of image. Per your image, if closeup to the animal skull as a foreground that will be more interesting. |

Very love the sky colors and that flowing clouds, however, the foreground seems too dark that missing part of details, I would suggest add more shadow adjustment and reduce blue tone. |

The sky is a bit harsh to me, the rich depth and details which let staring to the sky rather than the barn. that would be more natural with reduced the contrast and clarity of the sky, and then would more focusing to the subject. This is just my own thinking, or you have different expression. |
