Thanks Lisa,
Regarding the cropped image, I think I just screwed up somehow in uploading process. :-)

Lou, I honestly not thought of removing the cars and porta-poddies or cropping retaining only the the nature part of the beach. I will give that a look.
Thanks. |

Alex, I love this photo. Now that I have my new Mini 4, I plan to try night photography, and hopefully end up with some as good as yours.
Adding a LR template? Did you Preset?

As others have pointed out the sky is a bit to bright. Perhaps the moving your drown to the might have made a better image. I really like the details you captured of the trees on the island.
I wonder what it would look like if you cropped just below the island in the background?

Thaks Alex,
I never even considered removing the porta-poddies. And it so easy to do these days. My October submittal will most likely be from my mini. |

Hi Lou,
I like the post processing you did on the original. To me the main subject is the building. You might have tried to crop to get it more prominent in the picture, but working with a video frame you may have run out of pixels. Perhaps a prprogram like Topaz Giga Pixel AI might be an option.
At any rate I think you captured the autumn colors quite nicely. |

A great image, Pete. Once again, emphasizing the importance of shot time of day, and using post processing to magnify a shot's impact.
What would do I differently? Probably not having the nerve to get my SUV as muddy due to bad weather and being off road. I have an SUV, but have never used it 4-wheel drive capability, and few times have I ventured off road with it. But I see, what I can accomplish if I am a bit more adventurous. |

Lisa, I really like your composition, the post processing you did. If you started with a RAW image you might try to reducing the Highlights to tone down the blown out area, or depending upon your philosophy, use PS Replace Sky command. If you begin to create your own sky eamples, using one othem may make you feel better about such editing. |

To All:
Just took delivery of a DJI Mini 4 Pro today. Is anyone using a Mini? Tips? Thoughts? |

Pete that is a thought. I probably have a photo taken at a lower altitude. |
