I did not think of that. I will have to try it. Thanks, Alex. |

Alex, I think it is a fabulous image! Yes, as Pete suggested, you could have cropped it a bit to make the Ferris wheel the prime subject. But then that tells a somewhat different story.
I personally like your treatment of the colors during post. It makes them pop adding interest to the background. |

Hi Janos,
You have captured a very interesting subject. It certainly demonstrates the value of shooting close to the Golden Hour. I really like the image.
I wish the vehicle tracks were not there. Yes, it would be straight forward to remove those that are not between the tree shadows. However, removing those between the shadows might be another matter.

As I mentioned in my intro, there is a story behind this flight. I wanted to take a video as I flew over the lake. I was trying to keep my drone in sight and going back and forth between it and the display on my iPhone. As I looked at the image on the display, noticed my drone was not making much progress, and so I increased its speed.
Only then did I realize I had been using the wrong stick. Of course, by now, my drone had climbed higher and higher and reached the 400' limit along with multiple audio warnings. I no longer had it in sight. Finally, I did something right, and pressed RTH. My eyes and attention were so focused on the image on the display, that I failed to monitor the Height. A lesson learned - at least I hope so. |

Lou, That is a great documentary photo, and I am glad you took the opportunity to photograph it. Like Janos, I would try cropping in and using software to resize the image.
Like Pete commented, after doing that I would be tempted to add an arrow. Regarding the cropping, maybe only leaving the left-most truck might work. I think that would be sufficient to tell that part of the story and allow you to crop closer on the men. |

Pete, there sure are a lot of Jushua trees. I like the way your post processing brought their green color.
Like Janos, I wish there was something in the photo to help me judge the size of the trees and to focus my attention on. When I first look at your image, I eyes first go to the sky and clouds. Then at some point my attention shifts to the trees, which is probably not what you intended. |

Lisa,
I really like the image. If the sky is your main interest, possibly cropping a bit more of the foreground and/or brighten it a bit to set off the sky. What value of ND do you have on your drone? I have one on mine, but honestly, I cannot remember its value. |

I am not exactly sure, maybe some kind of buoy. I probably should have removed it. |

Yes. I should have said that, but I know it would be obvious. I thought it added a bit of interest to the shot.
