Alex, this is an interesting abstract. It reminds me night photography where the photographer captures the streaking lights of automobiles.

As others have pointed out, the bright and hazy are in the upper right of the images, takes me eye away from the lovely house and fields on the left.
I think the composition would be better and certainly the lighting if you took it more from the right. Flying early in the morning is a great practice - I should do more of that. |

I like the composition. It would have nice to include the lower left of the island as others pointed out - ISLAND! Your friend lives on his own island. How cool is that?
If it were my image, like I tend to - maybe too much - I would have increased the color and contrast in some way.
That being said, I do really like your photo. |

Pete, you really find interesting locations to shoot. It does not appear you did very much to original at all. Were the camera settings you cite dialed in by you, or were they a result of Auto with you setting the EV? |

I certainly like your photo, Drema. But what really interested me is your process. I have never used GoogleMaps to help me select or plan my shots. I will need to try that.
I really like the AI version. I am not sure about others here, but to me for submissions to this group, I believe AI-assisted images are fine, as long as they are noted as such. |

You made the original much more interesting by rotating it and reducing the brightness. Whoops, I thought you had edited the original to get to the final version. At any rate, I like the final version.
I have a mental checklist of sorts when I am flying, but often forget things, because like you, my adrenalin is peaking during the flight.
Do you recall the camera settings for the night shot? |
