Alex, I like the way the river meanders up the canyon. But you know, I think I like your other image even better. I suspect you had a bunch of excellent images to choose from the hundred you took.
As Pete mentioned, I wonder what the picture would like if you shoot it early in the morning? |

Hi Janos,
You captured a great view of the bridge. I like how the mountains and the sky set off and contrast with the dry riverbed. Unfortunately, we can only imagine what the river might have looked like with water flowing.
But... I know this is the wrong organization to suggest something like this, but I wonder what AI Generative would look like if you tried to add a flowing river. :-)
I do agree with Lisa that the noise level in the sky could be reduced. |

Lou,
I like your video frame capture. What I like best is the diagonal track the bridge makes across the frame.
I like to use a frame capture from my videos on occasion if the resolution requirements will allow it. And with AI assisted resizing available now, even quality prints can be produced.
Being a late commenter here, I really don't have anything to add regarding how you image could be improved that has not already been mentioned by others. |

Apparently they do. I believe this shot was taken on a weekend, Lisa. |

Your right, Lisa. As I edited the photo to enhance the colors, I definitely emphasized the tire tracks to the extent that they became the focal point.
I tried use LR in various ways to adjust the color of the tracks to better bland with the surrounding grass. But my LR skills were not up to the task. possibly a better approach would be to go back to the original, which does not highlight the tracks as much, and use masks to edit the other parts of the image excluding changes to the grass area entirely. |

Pete, another beutiful shot. Unlike the others, I do not think the light is too harsh. But that is just me. Simulating a polarizer by darkening the sky adds drama to the image. I am clad you told us that was you by the footprint. If I were editing the image I would have mistakenly cloned you out. :-)
Again, you have demonstrated the great benefit of rising early and doing some walking to capture the image. |

Drema, I really like your merged shot. By doing the Photo Merge you were able to capture all of the rocky shoreline. You handled the somewhat dark image very nicely during post. To me the lateness in the day made the shot, for the light had been turned on. |

Janos, I did not experience any dropout in my signal. They may not have been actively sending/receiving. To be honest, I had forgotten about the possibility of interruption. |

You are right about the antennas, Alex. I was told by a park neighbor that was the event. I am guessing that it has not really gotten underway yet. I Know nothing about ham radio, but PV is about 600 ft elevation in this area. Maybe they do not need huge antennas. ??

Lisa,
Your view of the masher is far more interesting than any view one can take from the ground. It clearly demonstrates the value of using a drone. I agree with Pets, I really like the lighting. |

Pete,
Thanks, And you are absolutely right. I was not thinking when I entered the F-Stop. It should be f/2.2. The printing in LR Classic and the distance between characters is so small on my monitor, I had to use a magnifying glass to be absolutely sure the decimal point was there. On top of that, I know that my Mavic Pro FC220 camera has a fixed F-Stop lens, and it sure is not f/22. :-) |
