Hi Alex, to me the problem with your image as mentioned above is the title. The image itself is a good view of the coastline - a favorite subject for me as well.
If you wanted to focus more on the pier, you could try Lightroom Classic's Supersize or something like Topaz GigaPixel to get closer to the pier. You might be able to get away with doing that for displaying a screen. |

Janos,
I get cold just looking at the image. I really like the image and your composition choice. |

Lou,
What I like best about your photo is how you optimized the exposure WB to whiten the snow and retain its texture. I wonder what it would look like to basically crop out the left half and then further crop the right half to make a pleasing closer view of the scene. Not a better view, just an alternate view of the scene. |

Well Pete, you certainly created an image that matched your club's theme for the month. You also demonstrated some skill in creating the composite.
You were indeed patient waiting for the right scene. I am at a loss to suggest any improvements. It might be fun to try a lower height shot or even a video. |

Lisa, I really like the photo. I especially like the color enhancement you did. The colors or texture make the photo look like a drawing to me. That's what I like about it. |

Thanks, Alex. Actually, my intent was not to make the scene realistic, but to show the jet low enough to see its details.
