Drema, I agree. I like the square aspect ratio better than the portrait approach. If I were to recrop the photo, I would probably do something similar. |

Janos,
This is a very interesting image as it stands. Personally, what I like to do to images like this is to convert them into a scrollable 360-degree image.
Have you tried something like Microsoft's ICE to stitch the 27 photos together, and then using an online 360-degree site such as kuula.co to create such the final image? |

Lou, I really like your composition and what you did to the sky. I also liked Pete's suggestion about using the built-in HDR capability of the Mavic.
Regarding the exposure, I am not so sure I would have darkened as suggested by others. I think I might have tried a bit of clarity first to increase the local contrast. |

Pete, I really like the enhanced color saturation you achieved during post. Starting with HDR merging was a good idea. It's interesting when I look at the original, I don't see a lot of contrast that would necessitate an HDR image, but it really worked here.
How far did you have to walk to get to this location? |

Drema, I really like your image. Taking it from that angle and creating the vertical panorama really adds to the drama. |

Hi Lisa,
Being late to the party, it is hard to add anything new to what has been said already. I understand what you were trying to do with the abstract. I really like the original view and wonder how it would look enhanced in a similar way as you did with the abstract version.
Another view of the bridge that is not directly over it might have been interesting as well. |

Well, I have to admit, Pete, the vertical crop does not make the image look unbalanced. At least it does not to me. I see your and Lou's point. Thanks. |

Lou, that is a good thought. What I was afraid might happen is that a crop like that might cause an imbalance in the image. But of all of the common composition guidelines, I find the those dealing with image balance the hardest to recognize and understand. |

That is a good point, Janos. And it would have been so easy. I just did not think of it.
You are right, one is me. :-) |
