Janos,
Being late to the party, I am afraid, like others, I would crop the image a bit. I would crop the water a bit from the bottom. It is great image no matter what. Well done.
I am curious. You say you took off from a moving boat. Did you use a dynamic Home Point (think that is the right term)?
I admire your nerve in taking off and landing on a moving platform. |

Hi Lou,
Personally, I like your crop. Having cropped it that way, I believe I would have cloned out the remnants of the road in the bottom corners. |

Pete,
I really like this image, especially your use of the mountain range's diagonal lines that lead you into the main mountain subject.
The post processing of the original image also is excellently done.
To give it a more panoramic look, you could crop a bit of the sky, but I like it just the way it is framed. |

Julie,
To be honest, I do not think I would do much of anything to this image. True the mountain top is hard to see through the clouds, but it is there when you project it to full screen.
I also love the shadows caused by the clouds. |

That is an interesting thought. The curvature was eliminated when I applied the FC 200 camera profile settings. |

Julie,
I agree with both you and Pete regarding the brightening the pavilion. I would need to do that with masking since the adjustment would probably over process the grass etc. |

Drema,
You are definitely right about the halos. I need to be more on the lookout for that as I increase saturation etc. |

Drema,
I think I may have stayed with the cropping of Original 2. Somehow the current cropping leaves me wanting to see the entire scene.
As with my personal preference for saturated images, I would have increased that a bit here. |

Lisa,
I like your image. In fact, it is the type of scene I try to capture. I have never driven around Lake Tahoe and did not know this tunnel existed.
As has been suggested, I think I would crop a bit off the left. But I would keep the two larger boats.
Also, I like saturated images, so I would increase that a bit and also possibly add a bit of dehaze as well.
At first, I did not see a magenta cast. But clicking on the image, went to the video itself, where I did see the cast.
In the end, I think it is a good image. |
