Lisa,
I am afraid I have to agree. I need to pay more attention to how a sky I like fits with the lighting of the foreground. |

Janos, I assume you mean the very small part of a building or something to the right side of the bottom of the image. I think this image illustrates that you need to look carefully at the edges of your photographs for distracting objects. |

Hi Janos,
Welcome to the group. I like the way you composed the scene. Putting the center of the community off center a bit allows me to get a better feel for the overall countryside.
How high were you flying when this was taken? |

Pete,
I really like the images you have shared to the group so far.
given all of the adjustments you describe, I was looking for a much bigger difference from the original. Not to my eyes, which means to me you have mastered the art of subtle and changes during post.
I am curious, you took an HDR image, but chose to share one of the images from the series and not the HDR. In this case I assume the HDR was not as good. Is that correct? |

Lisa, this is another good example of the fact you do not have to be hundreds of feet in the air to take a good photo with a drone. This image would make a good title slide for slide show. |

Topaz Sharpen AI did its thing. The foreground does not really look like a photo, not because of the sharpening, for the original looks the same overall. The whole scene looks like a pencil drawing, a characteristic that makes the image look quite interesting to me.
Good job, Lou. |
