That is a good point, Lisa. I do have a tendency to show too much of the sky at times. In this shot I may have even cropped to show less of the ground. :-) |

Replacing the sky really adds to the image. Many would have been tempted to add a nice blue sky, which would have changed the mood and not really gone with the lighting on the barn.
I really liked the masking achieves of the trees on the left.
Actually the first thing I noticed how defined the branches of the large tree were in the edited picture. |

No VLOS limit in Iceland? That be as it may, I would have scared ...less to fly my drone that far away. :-)
From a photographic viewpoint, I cannot offer any useful critique, except to say that your video is what I an hoping to accomplish one day. |

Talk about story-telling images. Quite a story going with this one. Is that blue shape his abandoned canoe? |

Lisa, watching the video I was impressed with the smoothness of the rotation. At first I thought you were using one of the auto-flight modes. But towards the end it did speed up slightly. But your gentleness on the controls is much better than mine. Am I right? You are manually rotating your drone.
I may have the wrong term here, but on my Mavic there is a mode called "Tripod". In this mode the controls are much less sensitive, and it results in smoother videos. I have tried it, but it is also easier to get yourself into trouble, especially if obstacles are nearby.
That being said, it is a very good video. I have not been to Sedona, but now I want to take my drone there. |
