That might work. Let me know if you try it and how it turns out. I am on a mission to improve my photoshop skills! And, the image is fine as is...very nice street/travel photo! |

Thank you, Andres, for your comments and suggestions. I am wondering if I need to get some help with monitor calibration! |

Thank you, Cindy. I purposely left the blossom in the back upper left to give it some more depth but I will have to see what it would look like removing it. |

Kieu-Hanh, This is a nice street scene with the leading line of the stone walkway. The perspective you took is very nice as the pathway disappears and begs the question as to what is around the stairs and/or behind the black door. I took the liberty of playing with attempting to move the pedestrian so he is against the white wall...I really struggled to make it happen so it was a good learning experience for me. But, I am not sure how I ended up getting the result. I definitely need to practice! I like the colors against the white and, of course, the signage says it all! Nice image. I am sharing my edit for fun only...I don't move subjects around in photos! |

Andres, very nicely done. I like that you took this at night to really make the colors stand out and adding blur makes it more interesting with the sense of motion. I see what Kieu-Hanh is saying in her comments about where to place the blur and I have the same issue of re-creating steps later! Very fun and creative image. |

Robert, I really like how the light shines through the ice cairn. Nice job with removing the house and bringing out the colors of sunset in the background. And, I am glad you took the safe route to achieve your goal! Nicely done. |

Ruth, just a beautiful monochrome image! I love images of lone trees and this line of them against the frost with the one lone tree on the right is just perfect. I personally like the crop in your original #1 as there is enough negative space there without being too overwhelming. Ver nice! |

Cindy, what a great fall photo shoot! Autumn is my favorite season. Beautiful trees in the morning light. I agree to remove the silver barrel behind the fence. The crop is perfect as it gives attention to the man working on the car and framed nicely by the beautiful tree. This is just my personal taste, but I find that it is oversaturated a bit. I prefer the color in the tree in the original image. Beautiful photos and what a treat for your photo club. |

David, beautiful sharp image of this lily with nice bokeh. You also darkened the background just enough that there is a hint of garden in there. And, I like the sepia tone and frame. Very nice image! |

Bob, It is always fun and challenging to try something new. I have been playing a bit with ICM too and plan to use some of them to create blended or composite images. You picked a beautiful subject and I prefer to have some of the ICM image recognizable and you did that. I prefer the original as I like the almost sepia tone to it and the whites in the center are not as bright. Very creative and beautiful image. |

Paul, we did a tour into the Duro Valley while visiting Portugal and I found it very interesting, too. I am also not a big fan of port wine...I think there was one I liked! I like the perspective from which you took the image and the edit with the filter works very well. My eye goes into the back right and wants to see more! It is very creative and gives the sense of being in a cave where wine is aging. |

Paul, what a great garden scene to photograph! I bet it is a lovely garden with many options for photographers. I like the composition with the main object in the bottom left third and the stairs going up at the angle. I agree that a bit more contrast will help the watering can be very apparent within the brush. |

Adrian, what a wonderful scene to capture with the sailboat against the ice. The composition works very well as the boat is moving and coming at an angle with plenty of space to enter into on the left. Nice work converting to mono too. David's edit is very nice and does work well with the base of the glacier. The fact that the horizon is not straight does not bother me because the boat is cruising at an angle. You can set up most cameras to show level horizon when taking the photo. Once I set that up, it helps me get it better in camera. Very nice image. |

Vincent, I like your high-key version as it looks like a beautiful pencil sketch. This could be considered a fine art image in my opinion. Nicely done. |
