Joan, very nice image of the Mono Lake tufas. I was there in June when we went to photograph the wild horses. It was my first visit and it is amazing. Your image is well composed, light coming in from the left is very nice and clouds in the blue sky are beautiful. Very nice! |

Kieu-Hanh, what a spectacular forest to visit! I like the perspective you chose with the rock in the foreground leading the eye into the scene. I tried to bring out more of the red in the rock, cropped and then removed just the one tree behind the main rock in the foreground. I enjoy seeing all your travel images! |

Ruth, nice sharp capture of the agitated bison. Composition is good with the bison to the right and the trees in background are blurred. I really enjoy your landscape and wildlife images! I notice the two people on the left in your original photo. I played with that image a bit to try and bring in the bison on the left. I deleted the two people and then expanded the image using generative fill...just for fun. I don't know what people are thinking...and to have a dog with him! He is very lucky. |

Robert, unique view of Venice. I like how you used the stone work to frame the view. And, you have handled the focus issue nicely using the watercolor filter. Very artsy depiction of Venice. |

Paul, nice subject to photograph and use black and white. My only suggestion is to add a bit more contrast. The figures on the periphery do not bother me. We were in Barcelona a few years ago and saw this cathedral...it is fascinating. I did hear that locals throughout Europe are tired of tourists because housing has been geared to tourists and leads to housing shortages/expensive living for locals. |

Vincent, I prefer the one with the black background as it really brings out the turbine. This is a minimalist photo and has some mystery to it. The light and shadow are perfect. I don't see the glow around it as Bob mentioned. |

Thank you for your comments and suggestions. And, the tip regarding adaptive mono! I usually use silver efex but when I saw this feature I thought I would see what it was all about. |
