Abdullah, very creative image. If I am reading your description correctly, you added the colors in the eye in photoshop...very artistic. My personal preference is to have they eye more centered in the circle as it seems too close to the top edge. Very artistic! |

Joan, what an adorable photo of your kitten. I like the different pose than a typical pet image, with her on her back, back legs/paws up, and the look in her eyes. Wonderful image. |

Andres, a great effort in post processing has paid off very nicely! You have brought out the mountains but retained the feel of the mist. I like how the colors change from the foreground and then into the misty mountain. Lovely scene! |

Kieu-Hanh, another nice travel image with a great sky with clouds to enhance the windmill. The windmill in the back seems to be leaning and yet the one in the front appears straight. I am curious about that and wondering if it is actually tilting. Nice traveling with you through your images. |

Robert, nice portrait of your girl! You captured her resting look very well and, yes, I see the cataracts! We have an almost 12 year old dog, too. You've inspired me to take more photos of him. I like your crop that focuses on the eyes but I also like the way that paw is turned in the original, too. Very nice! |

Ruth, again, another great capture of the moose! I appreciate the composition that focuses on his head. The detail of the fur, etc is amazing. Very nice image! |

Bob, welcome to Group 39. I just read your bio and look forward to seeing your images and your comments on mine and others...I have lots to learn!
I like this image as is. I find it restful, soothing and creative. The long exposure that makes the waves smooth frames the top section and the darker section below with rocks frames the bottom to bring the eye to the rocks with the beautiful light. I like your crop.
I see you converted in LR. I am a photoshop user and just learned a technique in PS to convert nicely. I have been using Silver Efex Pro in the Nik collection. Do you have any opinion on conversion technique/software? |

Vincent, I have to admit that the distortion for me is distracting and gives the image an uneasy feel. However, I find this to be a wonderful architectural subject and you have captured it very well in monochrome. The viewer is not distracted by color and sees only the grandeur of the staircase and archway, etc. Your version shows the detail and has good tones. |

Adrian, what a story this tells. I like the full scene version as it really shows what is going on. It does feel a bit busy so I cropped some of the bottom and then had to remove a few on the bottom edge. Not sure this works well. I like the detail in the image as everything is sharp and the contrast is well done. The dark cloudy sky adds to the interest as well. Nice travel image that tells a story! |

Paul, what a great idea to look at subjects from a new perspective. I like your composition...the light coming through the fence does not distract me as the light on the flowers is so much brighter that my eye goes right to them. I like the buds in there to give it the idea of new growth on the way. The shadows of the stamens add to it. Very nice image! And, giving me some food for thought when out with the camera! |

Paul, you have definitely captured your intent with this image. I really like the perspective as it feels like I am standing there looking down this moody hallway and wondering what is behind the door. There are wonderful leading lines, textures and patterns. Contrast is perfect. Very nicely done! And, amazing what our phones can do now. |
