David, this is a beautiful landscape of the river. I like the effect of the slow shutter speed and the composition you chose. I have to say that I like both your original and the edited version. These would make very nice framed photos on your wall! |

Michael, What a great capture. It feels whimsical and the bird in flight makes it so. I notice you didn't include the original so I am guessing you didn't edit much at all. A very fun memory of your travels to the Faroe Islands. |

Joan, How clever to use a photo of your granddaughter and what a meaningful card for her to keep. I tried making my own cards but wasn't very successful...I think I need a different printer. I bought the card stock from Red River too. What printer do you use? |

Hi Robert,
I really enjoy taking photos of wildlife and birds in flight. You have captured this so nicely and through a window, too! You caught the eye which I always aim to do but is often difficult. The head is sharp and the wings have motion. I do agree with Michael to bring up the color a bit to really make it pop. Very nice! |

Kieu-Hanh,
This image captures the story of this beach area in Spain. I like the colors/symmetry of the umbrellas and the ripples in the sand. I can see there is a walkway on the beach side of the umbrellas and it looks like they have smoothed out the sand on the opposite side. The people give it scale. What a great travel photo. |

Ruth, Once again you have captured a beautiful fall scene. Your editing of the sky works very well and I really like the ripples around the boat. The boat also shows the magnitude of the scene. Very nice! |

Ruth, thank you for your comments. No, I didn't really have a point of interest for this. I was only trying to capture the feel of the street in this little village. It would work better with a focal point! |

Thank you, Robert. When we went to Portugal I decided to use the iPhone for photos so I took them in raw format. It worked fairly well. |

Chuck, what a fun idea. I like the light on the bottle. I understand what James is saying but I agree with Lorna that in that version there is no context at all. I think the draped background works but I do agree it should be darker and more light on the bottle. I tried to achieve this in photoshop but could not make it work! Perhaps the lighting used for the still set up can achieve it. |

James, lovely image. This works nicely in monochrome and the viewer can feel the ballerina's strength and grace. I like the reflection of her ballet pointe shoe. Nice! |

Cindy, what a beautiful landscape capture with the dramatic sky, mountains and foreground. Nice light and shadows. I think both versions work well. |

Cindy, great view of this neighborhood. I like the way you captured the three signs and the reflection in the window. I also like the linear elements of the architecture - goth vertical and horizontal. And this looks very nice in monochrome. |

James, thank you for your comments and edit! I think extending the frame to include the tire works well. And the AI worked well too. Very nice. |
