Kieu-Hanh, what a lovely November image! I like all the colors and textures of the gourds. I have no suggestions other than you can use this to make cards for Thanksgiving! Nice image. |

Ruth, beautiful fall image! I love aspen trees and when I went to Hope Valley to capture some I was disappointed as there has been some blight here. I think your editing has perfected this image and I have no suggestions! |

Robert, I really like images of bees in flight and you have captured this one very nicely, even the glint in the eye! The composition works well and everything leads to the bee. I agree with others about taking down the brightness of the leaf on the left but that is an easy fix in processing. Nice image! |

Michael, what a beautiful sharp image of this monarch butterfly and flower! We have them here in CA but I keep reading that they are decreasing in number. I like the colors in your image and the bokeh. Composition works well with the flower in the center and the butterfly off to the upper left. Beautiful image! |

David, welcome to Group 3! I have learned so much from participating in the dialogue groups. Your image this month is very pleasing to me. You are right, converting to black and white really gives the scene a gritty, nostalgic feel. And capturing the cyclist right as he turned the corner with a little blur really tells the story. Very nice image. Again, welcome! |

Paul, What a lovely image of these blooms on such a long stem. The black and white version needs more contrast in my opinion. The color version works well with the background having those soft varying colors. It doesn't bother me that all the blooms are not in focus. |

Chuck, what a great idea for a photographer's still life. I agree with the others comments including that the folds in the cloth lead into the lenses. James' crop works with that well. Fun idea. |

Cindy, wow! this has such drama and detail. I like how the detail of the horse is so sharp and then the glint in the eye! The horse was definitely speaking to you! I agree with Lorna that this is a print! |

Lorna, I like how the texture in the old city hall really pops in the black and white version. The stone street leads the eye right into the archway. And, the shadows in the foreground are great as it adds to the story. Very nice. Makes me want to visit a European Christmas market! |

Thank you, James. I do like your crop as there is enough of the leaves to show context. Nice. |
