3 May 23 Reply Thank you for your comments, Kieu-Hanh. I was amazed at how well my IPhone served as a camera on this trip. Yes, I agree with Ruth as well and will have to practice cloning. May 14th
3 May 23 Reply Thank you, LuAnn. Your edits are very nice and appreciated. I think Ruth's idea to clone out the one gentleman is a good one. I need to practice cloning...it can be tricky! May 14th
3 May 23 Reply Thank you, Michael for your comments. I like Ruth's edit in taking out the one gentleman with the cell phone...I will have to practice cloning skills! May 14th
3 May 23 Reply Ruth, thank you so much for your edit. I will have to go in and practice cloning skills! I agree that leaving the woman in gives it perspective. Thank you. May 14th
3 May 23 Comment Joan, this is a lovely abstract and has given me something to think about when I photograph. I agree with Michael that the green at the bottom is a bit oversaturated and I agree with Ruth to bring out the red in the moss. Very interesting and creative image! May 14th
3 May 23 Comment Kieu-Hanh, I love bird of paradise and you have captured this one very nicely. It is very sharp and the lighting is perfect. The choice of black background really brings out the flower. Nicely done. May 14th
3 May 23 Comment Ruth, how creative and lovely. I appreciate your composition. It looks like a painting of looking through an old window at the tulips. I think it is beautiful and I have no suggestions. Very nice. May 14th
3 May 23 Comment Michael, what a lovely scene you have captured here. The sky, mountains, bridge and the lighting draw one in. Nice editing and changing the color of the clothing on the people to avoid distraction is very nice. Beautiful image. May 14th
3 May 23 Comment LuAnn, This image is captivating and stunning! Just beautiful editing to bring out the Sea Nettles against the black background. I also like the increased size and slight border. I have nothing to suggest! Very nice. May 14th

50 May 23 Reply Thank you, Cindy. I like your edits very much. May 14th
50 May 23 Comment Chuck, nice composition as the tree branches and the boulders frame the subject. The whirls in the water stand out as well. I took your original into silver efex pro and brought out tried to bring out the ducks more and take down the highlights of the rock on the right. Let me know what you think. May 5th
50 May 23 Comment Paul, interesting and fun subject. I prefer the color version in that the red headphones make it more interesting and the woman walking in back of the head seems less distracting than in the monochrome version. May 5th
50 May 23 Comment Karl, Interesting subject, for sure! You have brought out texture of the clothing and skin. My eye tends to go to the color area around the neck so maybe bring down the highlights in that area. I also like the color version. It has a fun and interesting quality to it with all the bright colors and really shows the blue eyes. I also like seeing the entire head gear and a little background in that one. Both are nice images and bring out two different perspectives. Well done May 5th
50 May 23 Comment James, this monochrome is really nice with the lighting and the shadows of the handrail and the texture of the stone. The stairs lead the eye up into the scene. My preference would be to see a bit more at the top of the stairs. May 5th
50 May 23 Comment Cindy, I like how the stairs lead into the scene as well. And you did a nice job with the sky replacement as it works well with the lighting in the scene. The foliage in front of the house is a bit distracting to me but not much can be done with that! Makes me want to walk up that incline and see the beyond. May 5th
50 May 23 Comment Lorna, I like how the textures and the reflections really stand out in the monochrome version. I do think color enhancements, etc would make the color version just as appealing. Nice image May 5th
50 May 23 Reply Hi Chuck, I appreciate your candid opinion. This is the original. It was done for a class called Photography as Art and we were to take the photo in camera with no editing except for cropping. It was well-received in class when discussed. Again, I always appreciate everyone's comments and suggestions. May 5th
