LuAnn, You know, I never thought about attempting to show the autographs....they are unreadable scribbles, of course. But that is something I will try. You have commented before about my arrangements being 2 dimensional so another area to work on. this was the first time I used the studio box and was disheartened when I saw all the dust particles. I decided it added some "vintage" quality to it and seems to work better in the monochrome version. As always, I appreciate your comments/suggestions. |

Kieu-Hanh, I like the image of this spider flower. The color is vibrant and the depth of field gives it a nice bokeh. Very nice image. |

Ruth, what a capture! I am drawn to nature and sea photography and this captures it! You can see the eye in the frigate bird as well. I understand how difficult it is to capture such a moment and I think your edits work well. I am not familiar with nature photography criteria....another something I need to learn about. Thank you for sharing this great capture of nature in action. |

Hello John and welcome to Group 3! I have learned alot from participating in the dialogue groups and continue to learn more each month. I am sure you will enjoy the dialogue in our group. This photograph is a nice example of seeing the beauty of a building. I like the crop and sky replacement you used and I think Bev's edit really makes the building more in line with the sky color. It also shows more of the texture of the building. |

Michael, this is a lovely image and depicts autumn colors very well. At first I thought it was leaves but happy to learn about the peeling bark of Madrona trees. I think the denoise and painterly effect worked very well. I am sure the effect shows up very nicely with your choice of fine art matte paper. Very nice image. |

LuAnn, this is a beautiful image of a flowing waterfall. And I do see forms in the rocks! You mentioned that it was very cold when you took the photograph so my question is why you decided to warm the color instead of using more of the original bluish tone? |

Thank you for your comments and suggestion. I did work on bringing down the brightness on the bill of the cap and it worked very well! |

Paul, I like how you captured the interesting shape and texture of this cactus. I used Topaz sharpen A1 and cropped a bit so that it is not centered. What do you think? |

Lorna, yes, I see the psychedelic effect and it works. My only suggestion would be to bring down the brightness of the light at the end of the tunnel a bit. I like the silhouette effect of the person walking and the shadow. Very nice shot. |

Karl, You have captured the texture and detail in the shadows. I agree with Chuck that you may want to crop out the sky on the left or add some clouds to it. Nice architectural image. |

Cindy, this image is very nicely set up. I think the flower really makes it as it goes so well with the "wallpaper" and draws one in. I like the grain in the table and the reflection of the radio. The shadows have enough detail. It feels like a grandmother's place so you did get the nostalgic feel very nicely. What lighting did you use for this? |

Chuck, what a nice image of a 1940's bulk plant. The angle at which you took the photograph works very well in that the lines of the tracks, fence and buildings lead one right into the image. The highlights on the tanks are not blown out and there are details in the shadows. The darkened sky really adds to the contrast. Very nice.
