I did go back and look at my images. When I resized it for the group, it took away the sharpness. Not sure why it was so dramatic in the edited version and not the original. |

Hi LuAnn, I really like your vertical version! The curves of the calla lily stand out more and the vertical position feels more natural. Very nice image! |

Lisa, this is a very fun and creative image. I like the perspective and that you got the entire Eiffel Tower in the view. It is a great travel photo. Very nice |

Hi LuAnn, I did go back and look at my images. When I resized the edited version for this group, it really took away the sharpness. I don't think that has happened to me in my prior submissions so not sure why this time. I am glad I went back and checked. Thank you. |

Kieu-Hanh, This is delightful and makes a great card. I like how you did the textured background and the red lettering. He is a great Santa! Happy holidays to you and yours! Mary Ann |

Ruth, this image really grabs me. I like how you included the hikers as they really show the immensity of the dunes. I also like the lines in the dunes with the snow. Beautiful landscape image. I also like your black and white version. With the contrast and the detail in the dunes, it came out very nice. |

Hi Michael, I like your image of the Three Graces....both the color and the mono image. I think both versions give a different story of the scene. I like the perspective from which you took the photo as the eye moves from each Grace. In both versions, for my taste, a bit more demarcation of the horizon would add to the image so that the sky was more apparent and apart from the water. I have not tried using a ND filter and this gives me incentive to do so! Also, I read the comments in Group 99 with interest. I am in Group 50 challenging myself with some mono work as well. |

LuAnn, beautiful still life photograph. I like the colors of the calla lily and the detail of the veins. I noticed you put a border around it which is a nice touch. I tried cropping it down on the left to fill the frame and that looked nice too. Very beautiful image. |

Chuck, I like this scene with the road on the right and the wispy clouds leading to the old combine. Old country roads and equipment make for great images. I see your ISO was at 2000 so I see noise in the sky. My eye tends to go directly to the combine due to its brightness. I took the image into photoshop and used topaz denoise to take down the noise a bit and then in camera raw I took down the highlights on the combine and the area to the right of it and increased the contrast just a bit. Let me know what you think. |

Cindy, I love books and to read so this image spoke to me! There is just enough light to give detail and yet we know it is tucked away in a corner. I see your ISO was very high and you were able to take down the noise. What editing program do you use for that? I use Topaz denoise so curious. Nicely edited. |

Lorna, yes, this tells a story. I like how you captured the young woman in the foreground on her phone and quite a distance from the group. They also have their backs turned to her. I like the diagonal perspective. The light, shadows, textures make a nice mono image. Very nice. |
