LuAnn, I will have to give the paint tool a try in Photoshop! And, no, I am not sure which others you painted....nice job! As far as using shutter priority....I always shoot in manual but this day was a photo walk put on by a local camera shop. The instructor suggested using shutter priority because we would also be photographing moving people, etc. I just decided to give it a try for the day. In hindsight, I wish I had been more adaptable but I have to admit that there were alot of people, both on the photo walk and at the market so I was not using my head very well. When I went through the photos I liked that the one tomato was in focus so decided to work with it. My camera also tends to shoot too light, so normally I expose for the highlights and then adjust in camera raw. Thank you so much for your edit and your advice! |

Lisa, I have never been to Pittsburgh and this photograph gives me a sense of it! Great composition in that you captured the city and the bridge. The light reflection in the water is very nice. I can see why this photograph was chosen. |

Kieu-Hanh, This is a very interesting scene. I like how you captured this treasure hunter! The colors are beautiful in the sky and on the sand. I wonder what the scene would have looked like had you taken a wider angle from farther away to capture the expanse of the ocean in comparison to the treasure hunter. |

Ruth, What a beautiful scene and all the work you did to capture it! I like the layers of it from the waterfall to the trees, rocks, mountain and sky. Very nice edits too. Beautiful photograph. |

Randolph, I like the edits you made to this photograph. I also like the angle of the photograph as it leads one into it. Great street "beach" photography! Let's hope they had sunscreen on! |

Michael, I really like photographs of old farm buildings/houses. This is a really nice capture of that scene. I like that you replaced the sky with one from your own photograph, too. I like the rolling hills, the spattering of green in the field and, of course, the old building. Very nice photograph. |
