Michael, I really like your edit of this photo. It brings out the detail both of the structure and the sky. Nice. |

Lu Ann, this is very creative. It does have the retro feel to it.....reminds me of the posters from the 60"s. I believe there is a way to do this in Photoshop filters too. Very fun edit! |

Your edit is very nice. I tend to leave my photos on the dark side and I need to work on that! This is in California near Sacramento. |

Thank you, LuAnn. I have taken the plunge and downloaded the LR/Photoshop on my desktop and signed up for the intro to Photoshop online course given thru PSA. Using Elements has given me a good foundation but I think I need to give myself more tools. |

Hi Randolph, very nice photo of the volunteer at work. I like how you cropped it to show the roots hanging down and the green leaf. You also captured the expression of "hard at work". I like Michael's edits in bringing down the brightness in the background and detail in the hat. Very nice photo. |

Ruth, this is a great black and white photo. The silhouette of the children playing is delightful and the original photo leant itself to black and white. I also like that you captured the wave breaking and the birds. I agree with the others that there is a bit too much sky. |

Michael, this is a lovely photo with the light reflected and the many colors. The only idea that came to my mind was a tighter crop on the right, maybe taking out the book. I don't know what would make the color change on the blue bottle on the left....interesting. |

LuAnn, this is a lovely still life. In my class we were given the assignment a couple weeks ago and I learned very quickly how difficult it is! You have captured the essence of the egg in this very simple set up. I like the light on the egg and the fork on the left. Very nice |

Michael, thank you for your comments and taking the time to play with the edits! I do like bringing out the detail in the opposite shore but I like the darker version of the sky and water. I will give it a try to take out the two antennae. |

Beverly, thank you for your bringing up the two antennae. I will have to look at removing them. I appreciate your comments. |
