3 Feb 21 Reply Kieu-Hanh, thank you for your comments. It is fun to experiment with black and white....I have much to learn! Feb 19th
3 Feb 21 Reply Yes, your edited version is lovely! I feel like I could walk right into the garden and then sit on the bench and take it in. Very nice. Feb 19th
3 Feb 21 Reply Michael, unfortunately I have a conflict that day. But our local photo gallery is having a class the next week for which I registered. I have also done some exploring on the Nik Silver Efex Pro you recommended and I really like it. I have a 30 day trial period now but plan to purchase. Thank you! Feb 11th
3 Feb 21 Reply Yes, I prefer the one titled Faded Flowers as I like seeing the detail in the background. By the way, I have downloaded a trial of the Silver Efex Pro to use with black and white. I like it so far. Thank you for the information.

3 Feb 21 Comment Michael, I really like the one posted where there is some light and shadow in the background. You have captured the color, texture and light. Even though the flowers are wilted, they are beautiful. Feb 3rd
3 Feb 21 Comment Ruth, What a lovely place to take a hike. This leads one right into the canyon and the person there shows the enormity of it. For me, I think the trees are a bit too saturated as I prefer the shade in the original. Very nice photo. Feb 3rd
3 Feb 21 Comment Kieu-Hanh, Happy Valentine's Day to you too! Your image is beautiful and I am a rose lover. It is nice to frame the garden through the arched trellis. I keep thinking it is skewed and needs to be straightened. I suggest taking down the white of the bench a bit and and taking down the brightness of the sky. Feb 3rd
3 Feb 21 Comment This photo is very beautiful. It looks like a painting. You have captured the lighting, the textures and the colors. Very nice. Feb 2nd
3 Feb 21 Reply LuAnn, I appreciate your comments. I have taken the original and given it a second try. In this one, I did not crop as much, leaving alot of the field on the left which puts the barn and trees more in line with the rule of thirds. Please let me know if you think this works any better or if this photo is just a non-starter. Thanks, Mary Ann Feb 2nd
