Yes, your edited version is lovely! I feel like I could walk right into the garden and then sit on the bench and take it in. Very nice. |

Michael, unfortunately I have a conflict that day. But our local photo gallery is having a class the next week for which I registered. I have also done some exploring on the Nik Silver Efex Pro you recommended and I really like it. I have a 30 day trial period now but plan to purchase. Thank you! |

Yes, I prefer the one titled Faded Flowers as I like seeing the detail in the background. By the way, I have downloaded a trial of the Silver Efex Pro to use with black and white. I like it so far. Thank you for the information.

Michael, I really like the one posted where there is some light and shadow in the background. You have captured the color, texture and light. Even though the flowers are wilted, they are beautiful. |

Ruth, What a lovely place to take a hike. This leads one right into the canyon and the person there shows the enormity of it. For me, I think the trees are a bit too saturated as I prefer the shade in the original. Very nice photo. |

Kieu-Hanh, Happy Valentine's Day to you too! Your image is beautiful and I am a rose lover. It is nice to frame the garden through the arched trellis. I keep thinking it is skewed and needs to be straightened. I suggest taking down the white of the bench a bit and and taking down the brightness of the sky. |

LuAnn, I appreciate your comments. I have taken the original and given it a second try. In this one, I did not crop as much, leaving alot of the field on the left which puts the barn and trees more in line with the rule of thirds. Please let me know if you think this works any better or if this photo is just a non-starter. Thanks, Mary Ann |
