Lots of good suggestions Wes. I agree mostly with Lynne's comments. For me, I would soften/take away the vignette & the line behind the subject. Your capture/focus is spot on. B&W is right for this capture. |

This image has a lot to say. I like your B&W conversation as you did it. For me the sky is fine. I agree with Lynne that harsher clouds takes away from this image. Is a nice capture with good impact. Also, the thin border is a nice add. |

For me B&W works well with your image. It has good impact, composition & interesting subject. I am not one to replace the sky or anything else, instead make your image as good as possible with what you captured. |

My 1st thought was to make the background a single shade of white/gray then add a thin gray/black border. I do like Tom's version. Otherwise the image composition to me is just fine. To me your image is pleasantly nice...

Nice capture, the lighting is just right to enhance this image. It has good impact. The BW works well. The thin border is a nice added touch. |

The hat is part of the western gambling look I was trying to get. But without the hat would make a interesting image. I also thinks Tom's version is an improvement. With the Joker being wild makes this hand 5 aces & I think the best hand possible. Thanks for your comments |

Dan, just visiting to see your awesome image. I love your subject, composition & light painting. For me, it has a nice impact & color. Just a thought if you do this again, perhaps put candles in each headlight... |
