Thanks Brad. I agree, the image could use a main subject so will try something like that. |

Appreciate that, Peggy. Good suggestion on the car facing direction. And yes, the blue car is funny! |

Thanks Kirsti! I think you're right that some dodging/burning and blurring could be helpful here so it looks less like a cut/paste job. I very much appreciate the feedback. |

It could certainly be an advertisement for congestion pricing in NYC, good point!
I so appreciate the suggestion to warp the grills and car parts. I already have a few visions in mind that would really make something cool. Thanks Alan! |

I love night images and this is gorgeous, Brad! You combined the original images very well and it makes a very interesting image. I especially like how the sunset turned into a night cloud scene. In the tree image at the bottom, the trees are slanted while the ones at the top are vertical, so that's something to consider. |

Hi Alan, Your Checkmate image is very neat, in of itself, first of all. And obviously quite a transformation into the sunburst. Your concept of putting it behind the desert scene is well-founded and creates an engaging scene. Adding the statues helps give some perspective and you shadowed them very well.
I like the way you lit the desert though I'm wondering if there should be a bit more color from the sunburst onto the base, similar to the way a sunset would illuminate the ground.
Overall, I enjoy it and it's a cool image. |

Hi Kirsti, I love the creativity here and the dramatic transformation. The girl pilot fits well and makes for a great story with the star-filled background. I like the lighting on the wings that you carried through and contrasts well with the darker bottom.
The day to night LUT might help with your blending. You might also consider masking out the halo around the dragonfly. I think you're on to something here! |

I enjoy the playful attitude of this composite, Peggy! Sunflowers are always a good choice to lighten the mood and the dancing lambs certainly add to that feeling. Your blending of the big sunflower into the field came out great.
The lamb placement is great for the one peeking through the leaves, so cute. The ones 'flying' are fun, though you might try to place them in more organic spots to lessen the 'paste' look. |
