I really appreciate the different opinions in this group. Yes, I wasn't sure about the sky and how much to include or not. Thanks Sherry, for taking the time to show that cropped view. And, I appreciate the suggestions on contrast and dehaze. The latter is an interesting point because it was very hazy, especially with a bit of morning fog over the water. Thanks again, everyone.
We are just starting to get our Spring weather here in New England, so I'm excited about that. Cheers! |

I like your angle here, Debbie, as it captures the leading features of the trees toward the tower. The photo is also sharp. Yes, with a bit of editing, a bit more blue and texture could add something to the sky as Janos suggested. I also might move the tower a bit off center for added interest. |

Such a terrific image. I love the composition with the red cabin to the left of the water which is perfectly blurred at 1/6 sec. Your angle captured the stream leading back through the high snow banks providing great depth. Excellent color balance as well, with the snow exactly right and a pleasing green in the trees and water. |

Interesting perspective on the falls, providing a great multi-layer view. Coming in low gives those great reflections in the bottom pool. The falls don't have a super-majestic flow, but you made the most with the contrast of the rocks and greenery. If you are in Photoshop, I might have considered cloning out that one grass grouping in the near the front of the lowest fall which is right in the center of your image and a bit distracting. |

Terrific angle to capture the wave structure of the dunes. You processed it to really bring out the texture and contrast. Including a bit of the blue sky complements the yellow of the sand well. It is very hard to tell the scale, giving it an abstract quality. |

Having been to the South Rim, I remember that feeling of looking down and taking it all in. Your image does truly capture that 'grand' view. I also like the bit of snow that we don't often see in these iconic images. The true colors and curves of the canyon make for a compelling composition leading the eye to the sunlit ridges in the background. |

Very calming scene, Sherri. The colors and spacing make for an interesting "above the horizon" view. The simplicity of the image works and it does make you wonder where they are going. If you ever want to do a composite blend, this could work as a terrific sky image, perhaps having them head toward a European castle high on a mountain. Just think of the possibilities! |
