The vertical image (labeled 'original') is my favorite by far! The winding road is amazing and it brings out the fall foliage much better. My eye is led through the scene from front to back in a very pleasing manner. As Janos said, you might not need as much sky. It is really a terrific shot. |

A very well done classic shot of this landmark. All the elements are here with the leading lines of the foreground rocks matching the angle of the bridge. I like the 2.5 second exposure time and the effect of the waves. |

As usual, I love the clouds. And the ray of light is magical, well seen. I like the composition with the rocks in the foreground with the crashing waves. It does give the feeling of what Cook might have felt when he first landed. The only nitpick I could think of is the blue/green color of the white water and the clouds in the upper right that might be a bit oversaturated but that's probably more personal preference. Super image! |

I might have boosted it a bit (too much?). I swear, it really was in that spot! |

Janos, that looks familiar because I was also at Lake Baikal in March! I was actually surprised how crowded it was at that time, but fun nonetheless. (It was about +10 degrees F during the day, when I was there.) Maybe I'll post an image down the road from my visit.
I love this ice cave image. It was not easy to balance the light and HDR really seemed to do the trick. The color balance of the ice was difficult. Everything is sharp. You also processed it very, very well to pull out the blue on the left and keep the yellow of the rock on the right. Looks like this was in the morning and you did a nice job bringing out the attractive sky texture. Very cool. |

This is a study in light and shadow that comes together very well. The pano serves this purpose to extend the lines of the dunes and exaggerate the shapes in an attractive manner. I think you did a pretty good job with what you had in the sky to put the focus on the dunes. My only suggestion would be to bring down the highlights on the very left side of the dune which look a bit overexposed. Cool pano! |

I am a huge softie for great clouds. There is really nothing more I need to have in an image. I do certainly appreciate the smoothing of the water but more particularly, I think the semi-circular shapes of the waves hitting the beach make for an especially pleasing effect. Normally, I would say an image like this needs a focal point, but there is enough happening that it holds its own. Well done. |
