60 Oct 20 Comment I like this photo Jane. It feels like a cool, quiet early morning. I think I would crop 1/2 of the sky off the top though. I don't think the image needs that much and there really isn't much happening up there. Maybe crop an inch off the right side as well as it's pretty dark and heavy. I played with it in LR. Dodged the right grasses a little and burned the sky after cropping to highlight the fog a little more. Also added a little vignette. I like this image because it feels so calming. PS I haven't read any of the above yet. Oct 20th
60 Oct 20 Comment The detail and the luminosity of the flower are fantastic. The colors beautiful. The stem out of focus is a little distracting for me. Maybe next time try to give it a greater depth of field. Creating a little more depth between the individual parts of the flower. Never mind I see you did that. I like it better. Sorry I try to not read other's comments before I respond so I don't get distracted. Yes definitely LR version the best. Oct 20th
60 Oct 20 Comment This image makes me want to put on a jacket! I like the composition, the gloom of the sky, all the different shades of green in the trees and brush and the passenger's expression for me just adds intrigue. Is she annoyed by the weather? Bored? I am left wondering. I like the little bit of river in the background around the b end to give it depth and the tree branch in front on the right making the viewer feel like they are coming onto the scene by accident. A great story, maybe different every time you look at it. Nice! Oct 20th
60 Oct 20 Comment Nicely done! I like that the lilly pads and the ripples in the water add interest to the scene. I actually prefer the tree not being in the center. I wouldn't change a thing. Oct 20th
60 Oct 20 Reply Damon I honestly can't remember which event does what. It's been a few years since I've been to one. I do look forward to attempting this again.
Thanks for the comments.

60 Oct 20 Reply Thanks for the input all. I agree if I could have been more to the right but I think that would have put me in the ring. Access is always my biggest hurdle at rodeos. I do look forward to my next attempt at one, perhaps 2021. Oct 13th

83 Oct 20 Comment Lance this is a lovely image of Pete. I like how he's tethered to the board and the nice placing of the sea gulls you executed. It's very contemplative and thoughtful. The only issue I might have with it is that except for Pete the image is mostly midtones which makes it kind of soft (I guess contributing to that contemplative feeling) and maybe less interesting. That is just my first impression. As I look at it, well, maybe it's okay. The sky looks so ominous I'm thinking maybe it should be darker that the water or the sand. As you can tell I'm having a hard time deciding.
Just beautiful composition .

83 Oct 20 Comment Joe what a beautiful image! What a great use of ephemeris. I personally prefer the moon to not be centered on the building. This way I can look at the moon and imagine it moving behind the building while I stare at it. It's very beautiful! I would never get tired of looking at it on my wall. Oct 23rd
83 Oct 20 Comment I can almost hear the falling water you have captured the mist and water motion caught in action. I definitely feel that hard crashing feeling of the action. I think it was the right choice to stop the action with the fast shutter speed. I kind of want to see more of the waterfall. I feel that I am missing something. Is this cropped or is that the full image size? Nice composition and I like the curtain of falling water at the back. Oct 23rd
83 Oct 20 Comment Debasish this is very interesting and beautiful water. You captured it clearly and I feel even this smallish image I can see the sand underwater. Still I think it lacks something to hold my interest. The pattern is too repetitive . What would really catch my interest would be a nice fish in that water! Oct 20th
83 Oct 20 Reply Thank you both. Your comments really get me to stop and see this image from a whole new direction. I can't say I even took the dark areas into consideration. Thanks and yes I am learning here! Oct 14th
