I didn't mean to leave my name on it. It was one in a local art show, and sold a couple of copies.

I think it's an interesting shot. I think though one would have to be aware of what they are to know what they are without a description. And, recently I was told that "if you have to explain your image don't bother putting it up". So there!
More and more I am doing this because I love it and I really don't give a damn whether judges or anyone else like what I do. There's been a couple of articles in "Lenswork" and even by some very recognizable names that are saying the same thing.
If you like it, do it. I'm sure I'll catch it a little from Karen and Judy, but hey..........?
Well off to NECCC this weekend. It's a great three day immersion in photography.

If I were unfortunate enough to be homeless, I guess Hawaii wouldn't be the worst place.
I think this is a good shot. It tells the story. If it wern't for the blanket I really wouldn't take it for a homeless guy though.
Technically it is well done. I wouldn't crop anything out as in my opinion it all adds to the story.

Nice travel shot. Although there's something about the color and balance. I can't put my finger on it but maybe it's flat. I don't know and it's bugging me. It's sharp and the composition is well done.

I think this is done well as is. I'm sure the mono version is just as well done. I didn't even notice the bird until you mentioned it. So I guess it's OK. They're almost to be expected in a shot such as this. |

Well, in this part of the world, Cape Cod area, we've about had it with sharks. We've become overrun with Great Whites.Every night on the news there's more sightings. Not helping the Cape's tourism industry the past few years. They are after seals, (and humans)
Anyway. This is a cool shot. Not familiar with the Black Tip version. Is there a way to get more color out of the smaller fish? |

I like it. I'm not a big fan of adding filters etc., but I do like some of the texture filters when used for effect.Composition is good I think. Loved it when we went through there a couple of years ago. |
