29 Jun 19 Comment I have to agree with the rest of the group. BUT, I might suggest try to convert it to B & W and play with it a little you'd have a good shot. Just a thought.

29 Jun 19 Comment I think this is a very nice shot. I have heard some judges claim the landing area of the falls is blown out when a longer exposure is used. This has that quality but I don't find that it distracts.

29 Jun 19 Comment I like this very much. I like that you used a 300mm lens. I have two macro lenses but read about using long lenses to get these images and have been playing with it.

The DOF, color, focus all excellent. I even think that the subject being in the center is fine.
Great job.

29 Jun 19 Comment Again. I love these old buildings. I think the reflection adds to the image you're conveying. Light is well done and it is crisp and sharp.

Very similar to an old factory in my town. When we were on the second floor it looked very much like this. It did have a resident. As we were standing in the middle of the floor a fox ran out the door and across the floor. And, of course no one had a camera ready.

I like this a lot.

29 Jun 19 Comment I also like Karen's crop. While the model is attractive I find the double shadow on her face takes away from the image. I also think that the flower across her face is distracting. I don't think she has to be looking at the camera. Her looking away gives the impression of wondering and maybe dreaming. That's fine. Jun 19th
29 Jun 19 Comment I also love these old abandoned buildings and machinery. A word of warning though. A few years ago I did an abandoned movie theater that was loaded with dead birds, bird droppings, dirt and dust. Shortly after I was diagnosed with a case of pneumonia. Doctor blamed it on the trip to the movies.

Enough of that.I think this a great shot Bob. When I first looked at it I thought it might have been over sharpened. When I saw the original I could see it was the machinery. Your handling in post is very well done in my opinion.

29 Jun 19 Comment Thanks folks for the comments. Interesting thing about this. Two days later when I went to the PO the glass in back was broken and the bottles were askew. Som I guess ths is a one and only. Jun 13th
