I did it also in B&W. But I liked the color of the cloud deck. I had cropped some of the land portion, but more can be done.

I am envious. A few of us spend hours looking for abandoned property such as this. Problem here is real estate is such a valuable commodity that it het gobbled up right away so such places are few and very far apart. I agree with Judy about the green being a little much. If you're using LR or PS you could mask the car and adjust the grass without changing the car. I really like this one. |

I think this is a very nice shot. It would make a nice wall hanging. The colors are captured right on. The hills and sky are also done well. Horizon is off a little but that's an easy fix.

First I think I agree with the others that I think the music should be in the background. I very much like the image and everything about it except what I said above is very well done. I thought you had taken two images and layered them.
I am envious of you folks with some creative sight. I spend the day trying to come up with creative ideas such as this for minimalist, macro, close-up, etc. I read, study and think. MaybeI should I just do it and see what happens. |

Ah, twirling. We just last week had creative nigh in our Image Study night. One of the members used the whirl filter in PS and got some interesting effects. I like the results of many of these but I agree about the standing in competition. They don't seem to be doing well here. |

This certainly gives a sense of aloneness. whether cropped or not I don't think is going to change that a lot. The quality reminds me a lot of some old slides my father took with an Argus C3, many, many, many years ago. |

Bob, Living on "the other coast" I also like the off season a lot better. I agree with Karen about moving the lighthouse a little off center. But, I think her attention to sharpening or color is a little over done. Having said all that I am a little confused as I look at the image. It appears to me that the wave action coming in to the beach in the section where the person is different from the wave action on the other side of the breakwater. I think your water colors are right on for the time of year.
