I like this image with the good leading line and the snow. I used the adjustment brush in LR and increased the open shadow and increased the exposure a little on the log cabin. I think with some more work in PS the detail could brought out some more for a real nice image. |

As a sometimes judge one of the biggest killers of a good image is not having the horizon. This image is a perfect example of that. It looks as if the ocean is going to flow right off the page. It is very easy to fix. Otherwise I like this. I like the perspective with the man on the board beside the shrine.

Great winter eh. We had a nice little storm here last week. Hadn't gone above freezing for three weeks. Today it's 54 degrees. Tomorrow for the Pats game it's supposed to be in the 20's again.
I have been wanting to try water splashes for a long time but that old enemy procrastination keeps popping its ugly head.
I like this image of yours. Nice and sharp and great splash. Well done. |

I think this is a nice shot. Lighting is good and the church is well defined. We go to Scandinavia quite often and these old churches dot the landscape and often are quite beautiful.
The only nit I see in this I would probably is to remove the pole on top of the hill. My eye for some reason went right to it. Very minor.

Nice light on the face. The rest of it being dark could have many symbols in its meaning. Really not a lot to see. |

Thank goodness you weren't on the trip of the 18th. Tragedy.
The image looks some what over processed. There are a lot of halos in the top part of the image. If you were trying for this effect it works. |
