I use focus stacking quite often. And you are correct. This was a grab shot as I walked by in the garden. I think mainly I liked the color and the DOF.

I'm still trying to figure what happened to it in cyberspace. Your crop I think is too much off on the right side. And, I guess wonder why the crop is necessary other that you "were in the mood"? That's fine, have fun. |

Wow. A great action shot. You couldn't have captured it any better. I think it should be a winner.

Very well done. Mendenhall does get the most of the traffic. And, it's amazing that on the three times we've been to Juneau, we go there and it shrinks more each time. But, "there's no change". This is nicely done, but I am wondering if you've enhanced the blue just a bit. |

Definitely, a shot you have to have as your own. A must for the wall. Very nicely done. Colors are right on. DOF is also. I think it's a winner, but because it's been seen so many times I think judges have a difficult time appreciating shots like this. |

I think this a very nice room. I like the crop that Karen did to get rid of he bars. They made it very difficult to understand. You did a good job shooting and keeping colors, reflections, and sharpness well in check through what I presume to be glass. Nice shot (cropped). |

Ahh yes. The drive-in. Probably not going to win a competition, but a great memory (or 2 or 3) for most of us. What I fin a little confusing is that the screen appears to be in back of the cars which are facing toward the camera. |

I think you did a good job bringing up the light on the lower section of the wall. Just enough as to not appear to be overblown. I might also have cropped a little bit off the right side. |

Thanks Karen. Interesting that I use two monitors. In both of them (calibrated) the rose is very sharp. But, I do notice what you are talking about here. |
