Thank you for your comments, everyone! The greenery was in the original snake picture and, oddly, I never even thought about removing it. Next time I will try to remember to take that into consideration. |

What a lovely surrealistic image! Great detail, it looks like I could reach in and touch it. I might have put the upper left-hand bird closer into the center but that is very much a personal choice. This has a very serene beauty and I enjoyed it a lot. |

This seems very nicely done. The figures blend in well and I love the streetlight. I find the quality and consistency of lighting you have achieved really makes the image believable as a whole. |

Nice current topic choice. Overall I like it. The only thing I would say you might want to revisit is the difference in light direction sources on the faces. But I do know that's really hard thing to deal with. Love your creativity! |

I like the yellow in the boat. I find the edges of the legs against the water rather distracting. You might want to clean up the edges a bit. The composition itself is an interesting idea. |

I find this a very interesting composition. Very creative. I love the light on her face. I don't think I would have ever come up with idea to use the seaweed in the tail composition, great use of imagination. |

I love the textural contrast between the foreground and what's in the distance. |

This is an interesting take on the picture which to me actually looks textured like it is printed on cloth. the only thing I am not fond of is the squared-off aspect of some elements. It looks like pixelation may have occurred. That being said I can totally see this as a successful printed design on a rough fabric. Congrats, you succeeded at something I don't think you were really trying for! |

I love that you included the pics to show the progression. I never would have guessed this started out with a pic of a screw. You may have gotten a bit more sharpness of edge in your result if the original pic was taken on a very slight angle to the edge. I don't really know but it's just a possible idea I might have tried. Really you ended up with a nice image which is a total departure from the original. It is very hard to do some things in the phone apps, don't be to hard on yourself. |

Nice texture on the Thistle flower. And I don't see your yellow spot so you obviously got that handled. If anything I wish the bee details were a bit more refined. Nice shot though! |

I am especially liking the zoom effect on the edges and the angle you took on the subject. Never heard of Mextures, I will have to check that out. |
