As if it has a sense of having a foundation |

I lOVED our trip to Yellowstone in the winter and this brings back wonderful memories. Thank you. I am so glad you included the whole scene giving the thermal pool as sense of place. Beautiful light, color, handling of exposure. My only suggestions are really picky. I would crop a bit off the bottom ( about 1/2 the distance from bottom of photo to bottom of thermal pool) since it doesn't really offer anything and somehow with it cropped it seems more grounded. And I would clone out the tiny bit of snow on left center edge cause it takes the eye out of the frame |

Glad you survived the 31 degrees and even gladder you got out and shot this beautiful scene. I really like the color and the gorgeous light and I would love to see this with different shutter speeds to see what I end up liking the best. I can imagine I might like it even better with the water even more smoothed. I find myself wondering what the shot would be like from just a Bit more to the left with more of the pink sky and rock top right and slightly less of the left side of the foreground rock and top left hill. To my eye it is a bit soft…especially the foreground rock. Maybe focus stacking would have made it even more pleasing. Nonetheless it is such an inviting and restful scene |

Well done! Much improved. And you even got the ring more visible. Great job with the shadow and toning down the woman |

I love the variety of colors and shapes. Well seen. I find the tag bottom center right distracting. I want to be able to ready what it says. Is there a way you could sharpen it and increase the contrast? If not, I might try to clone it out though that would certainly be difficult. I am not sure where to rest my eye so it wanders around the shot…both a good thing and probably not. I know you can't retake this scene but it would have been fun to have someone in photo looking at the fabric or touching it or something |

I love the expressions and body language. You did a nice job with the choice of aperture for keeping the focus on the intended subjects. Like Emmy, I would not have seen the ring without the title. I think you could use a radial filter in LR…or maybe better yet a brush just on the ring…to add contrast, saturation, sharpness, clarity, maybe even darken it a tad so bring it forward from the background. I find the shadow down her body distracting. I wonder if you could lighten it enough so that it was still there (as of course it would be) but not so noticeable. I agree that she is brighter than her boyfriend, so maybe bring down the highlights on her? You are doing such a great job with "street photography". It seems as if it is a great fit for you |

I just saw this after you added the recrop and I really like the change. The footprints, the rock and the beach sand art are such a lovely combination. I like how the path of the foot prints and the sand lines seem to go together. My wish would have been that you took the shot so that the sand art wasn't cut off on the left…maybe landscape orientation or wider iPhone sot if your phone allows. Personally I love the sand art and find it almost irresistible when I am walking on the beach so that bias may be impacting my suggestion. Well seen for sure and I like how the second crop brings the eye to what is really important. I think the rock adds a nice sense of foundation |
