Jay,
These are hard shots to get. I've tried many times with little luck. Bravo on this one. Just a couple of suggestions that might improve the image. You might move the dragonfly over to the right a bit so the eyes aren't in the center of the frame. The wings and body sort of create a triangle which can be a nice compositional element. It might also work in a square format. I think I would tone down the bright green in the insects eyes because my eyes were drawn to them maybe more than they should have been. Even in the original the eyes look very bright green, but would help the image if they were softened a bit. |

Sophie,
I think this image is beautiful and it looks finished to me. I think your processing is wonderful and improves on the original. The only suggestion I would make is to have a bit more space in the image to the right of the last dancer. My eyes moved from left to right and sort of stopped abruptly when I got to the right border. Maybe by using the 'content aware' feature in Photoshop you could add just a bit more space. It is a wonderful image. The blur works so well for this image. |

Henriette,
You definitely got that soft dreamy look you were hoping for. It makes a wonderfully soft ethereal image. It is just my preference, but I generally want a small area that has a bit more focus. Maybe even one or two little spikes from the center of the clematis. The composition and the textures work very well with this image. Well done. |

Great image and hard to believe it is right out of the camera. Well done. The only suggestion I would have is to have a little more space on the right side where it is cropping the ear. I think the Depth of Field is great in this image. |

Trey, You've done a very nice job processing this image. Such an improvement over the original image. This really is quite a tree and likely has many stories to tell. |

This is mesmerizing, as many fires are. I can almost see the flames moving. This makes a beautiful abstract. My eye simply follows the flames upward. I like this image a lot. I can't see anything that you could have done differently. Well done.
