I love the lighting and composition. The pine tree helps me understand the magnitude, especially since I have never been there. |

A great BnW image. Colors IMHO would have been distracting. When I first saw it I saw the clouds and not the trees. To me the tree line is more visible in Richards redo. |

This image to me should be titled "if looks could kill". My initial response was poor sad puppy. I like the sharpness depth of the photo. The expression on the dogs face is all I saw at first. I'm not sure that a slightly different crop would have changed that. |

I agree with you Richard. The eyes are memorizing. And the image is eye opening. Was there a reason for cropping the bright red hair other than it was distracting from the eyes? |
