I agree Richard. That's something I'm learning. One of my instructors likes to remind his students about composition (that I forgot this time) "up,down, and all around". |

Very interesting. I think the priest in the foreground helps the viewer understand the size. I'm curious why the fast f4.5? Were you not able to use a flash? |

This is an excellent picture. In my limited experience, I just don't see a practical way to improve on it. It sure gives me a feel for the city at night. |

I understand and appreciate everyone comments about separating the tree from the flower but I just liked the flower against the bark. The flower is on a vine with many blooms. I could have captured another bloomed and "bokehed" the background but I thought the flower with the pattern of the bark was somewhat unique. |

Very impressive. Tack sharp. Humming birds are so difficult. Did you consider cropping out part of the crocosmia to emphasize the humming bird? |

When I first look I get the sense that the fog is moving in. I agree that the BW works well here. |
