I had initially posted tow sequential photos; the photo of the titmouse just with his head out of the box and the picture of him flying away. I'm new to discussion groups, and I didn't understand that you were only suppose to post individual pictures. I like your idea of converting to black and white. Thanks |

Thanks Larry. I appreciate the input. I'm a novice and still learning how to turn the camera on. I did take a local class last year and learned about BB focus. It took a while to make using it a habit, but I'm hooked. |

Thanks for the suggestion Larry. I understand the issue. I understand the importance of single point focus in situations like this. |

Very impressive. What great depth; the comet surface of the water is just as sharp as the comet. The cloud layer and sunlight definitely captured my attention first. Where was this picture taken? Did you consider cropping out everything but the comet and Big Dipper? |

Of all the subjects I've experimented with, birds in flight are the toughest for me. |

My initial thoughts were where in the world is this. I was immediately surprised by the vastness and the vividness of the colors. I've never been to Death Valley so I can't comment of the accuracy of the colors. But I can comment that you sure captured my imagination. |

Very good photo. My first reaction was calmness and quietness. I really appreciate the sharpness of the boats and the way you kept the haze in the background. |

Wow! I really see the Flamenco dancer. Very impressive. When I first saw the image I couldn't imagine how you shot it. How did you get the colors in the roots? And how did you get a stable footing for your tripod? |
