Nenette, I'm number three with the suggestion. Probably you can crop to 1:1, dropping the lower part? |

Sheldon, the light in the midst of the photo is exactly at the right place and it is creeping on the metal of the train to the left lower corner - perfect. Good conversion from color to monochrome! |

Thanks to all! The trip with the cropping was very good! I admit, it looks much more better! |

Migration period! Seems, the cranes want to cover the entire sky! All sharp and a very seldom situation! Big catch, Butch! Congrats! |

Kathleen, the picture of the owl is wonderful! I do not know the resolution of the photo. But it would be interesting to show only the bird; in color AND (!) monochrome. Without changing the brightness! In the colored version the eyes would probably in color and the rest monochrome. Big cinema!

Julia, perfekter Fang! Gut gemacht! |

Ernoe, a brillant photo! With a short shutterspeed to capture the action. I see two stories in this picture: water and birds. If you want to show the water - nothing more to say. If you want to show the birds, I'm with Roy and Butch. Take more photos in this situation, you will have a better choice in the end. My experiences with bathingsituation is to wait, until the bird is ready with cleaning and want to get rid of the water in the feathers. This will spread enough water away for the action and you have probably the Bird with spreaded wings!

I love this photo, Christ! I know very well, that it is depending on the position to picture a bird fully sharp. The foreground may disturb for exhibitions. If it is ok for you, this is a perfect photo! My advice in situations like that: Take this photo to have it for sure and leave the camera focussed on the bird. Probably with the next movement it will be free and then shoot again! Does not work every time, but try it! |

Thank you to all. Roy & Ernoe, I couldn't picture the feet, they where "behind the water", not in the water. And I had no possibility to change my position. |
